If you are enrolled in ENG 110, you will be completing an ePortfolio project at the end of the term. Basically, you will explain your progress toward mastering the course objectives, and you will include evidence to show your growth. Your professor will explain the content that should be included on each of these pages. If your professor has asked you to label the pages differently, follow those guidelines instead of the base project guidelines below.
Create the following pages and add them to your menu:
- ENG 110: This page should include the course description and learning objectives for ENG 110. You can find this information on your course syllabus.
- Active Reading (LO 3): This page focuses on learning objective 3 and may include pictures of select annotations, links to responses to readings, or other activities related to strong active reading practices.
- Peer Review (LO 4): This page addresses learning outcome 4 and will include samples of your comments to your classmates.
- Significant Writing Project: This page addresses learning outcomes 1, 2, 5, and 6. At the end of the semester, you will select one of your essays to demonstrate your progress. To show your revision process (LO 1), you will also include the first draft. You will explain how this sample demonstrates your understanding and progress on learning outcomes 2, 5, and 6.
ENG 110 End-of-Term Project Pages and Menu
This 4-minute video tutorial will guide you through the process of creating ENG 110 pages and adding them to your menu. You will not complete the content of all the pages until the end of the term, but preparing the pages and menu now will make the end-of-term project easier to manage. Creating the pages and adding them to the menu will take about 5-10 minutes.
