Students may always include a course description and learning outcomes to highlight the focus of a course. This may also help a student identify the skills that are developed in that course. One approach to organization is to create a course page (using the course’s title, not the course number since an outside audience does not know what “ENG110” is, for example) and then categorize all content using the same name as well as the skills developed. To organize by course, students may use a page tag such as “UNE Courses,” and then add that tag to the widgets area. To add a tag, type in the name and then press enter/return. A category could also work this way, but only if the course description is written as a post.
Some programs and courses embed ePortfolio content. Below are some resources to help students find course-specific or program-specific information about building their ePortfolio.
